Course Offerings

Through its Code Services Division, FRA offers a number of building code courses structured to meet the needs of design professionals, municipalities, contractors, developers, real estate professionals, and the public. For continuing education requirements, each course is certified for AIA HSW credits, as well as PDH’s for NYS engineers.

We occasionally offer public courses in our Rochester training center for up to thirty-five people, or through local organizations. For these courses, we charge the individual rate (which can be found in each course description).

An increasingly more popular option is for us to provide group training for individual firms or organizations, such as the AIA and ASCE. These allow for larger numbers of people to be trained at once and help keep costs reasonable. FRA will travel to your location of choice. Group rate fees, as indicated in the course descriptions, are for up to twenty people (with $25 being charged for anyone above the twenty person limit). Travel expenses are in addition to the instruction fee.

FRA also provides custom courses for firms and individuals. These custom courses range from completely new, customized material to existing courses that are adjusted to better suit your needs. Fees are set according to the extent of customization.
